Seeking directions for making shadow (from scratch)?
Does anyone know of a source online to find basic instructions screen for manufacturing? I do not buy a whole book to a cylinder tapered shade.Just want the basics, making a model, how to bind and Sewing, what is the best glue for wallpaper (not tissue), the assembly process, so I need a custom size and not pay the premium. Thank you.
If you can find a white tone the way you want, you can use a spray adhesive for paper coating applied to customize the shade. Get double-fold bias for or tapestry braid to go on top and the lower edge of a finished look. You can get the tapes of bias or tapestry weave in fabric stores. Good luck! If you want a custom format, it is unlikely that model is available. I was just in the shade of a large piece of white paper and turn it slowly until it is returned to the fold. As you do so, mark with a pencil on paper at the top and bottom of where the shadow is as moving as you play. When finished, you have the model you need.
