POMEGRANATE

Hidden (yum)
Pleasures

Pomegranate

A fruit of the Old Testament
The pomegranate bears witness
To years and
Tears of suffering

Pomegranate

Each rolden globe of red leather
Protects the masses at last.
Through perserverance and
Determination
These seeds of the past
Spring forth
To stain all within reach
With the
Blood of the
Persecuted.

Pomegranate

We would do well
To enjoy with our hearts
The fruits of
Their savor.

HUSTLE

The hustle blows in your ear, attempting the seduction
of your money holder. Take care and be aware, for the
admonition of 'play fair' has not always strayed to
the hearts of the many.

Hustle

The hustle seductively blows in your ear, tickling the
g-string of greed that resides within. Play the game
and flaunt your bargain, but know that, if taken, you
have only yourself to shame.

Hustle

The hustle seducively blows in your ear,
     tickling the g-string on your
        bass of greed.
Dance to the music and flaunt your brain,
But know that, if shaken,
     you have only yourself
        to blame.

Hustle

In the end, the hustler loses respect, both from
within and with doubt, while the shock loses pride and
honey. There are no beginners.

INTERIMS

Interims commonly get sauced between beginngs and
endings, yet it is interims that contain the meat of
any pie.

Interims

Interims often go unnoticed, their posters passed by
or shoveled with graffitti.

Interims

The big hoo-hah of excitement, enlightment,
     uptightment belongs to beginnings.
The big candelabra of tears and oh dears
fizzle at the ends of each performance.
The interims get no brave reviews.

Interims

Fly through life without interims,
     and see where you bland.
