How do I create a PDF file from a large image?
I have a 15 inch by 35 inch drawing you want to scan and create a file PDF that my drawing is reduced to 11 by 17. What is needed in terms of scanner and software? I already have a 11×17 printer.
You will need Photoshop or Corel. You have to scan 2 halves and put them together in Corel Ph0toshop and then output to PDF. The thing to do is the superimposition of each half so that when you fix everything, separation will not run. Resizing in Photoshop to the wishes of its size and from this point. Save as PDF files. It will save you the correct size of 11 x 17
